I am licensed to sell Medicare options in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Florida and Kansas and I am honored to have worked with our Medicare community since 2012 . For some, choosing the right Medicare plan can be an overwhelming task. Once eligible for Medicare, everyone receives both Part A (Hospital) benefits and Part B (Medical) benefits. However,U entitlement and eligibility to Original Medicare can be confusing.
Many are asking: "When should I apply for Medicare? What to expect if I continue to work past 65? How does Medicare affect my coverage with a dependent? What's the difference between a supplement and a Medicare Advantage? What is Part D? What plan does my doctor accept?
Our individual needs, financial means and medical conditions can differ from one person to another. And our benefits can vary from state to state- even county to county. My passion is helping our Medicare beneficiaries find a plan that best meets their needs at enrollment and building a trusting relationship with you year after year. Enrollment periods
Initial Enrollment Period is 7 months long. It includes your 65th birthday month plus the 3 months before and the 3 months after your birthday month. You may enroll in Part A, Part B or both. You may also choose to join a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C) or a prescription drug plan.
Annual Enrollment Period - October 15-December 7. During the annual enrollment you can add, drop or switch your Medicare coverage.
Special Enrollment Periods- Depending on certain circumstances, you may be able to enroll in a Medicare plan outside of the initial enrollment or annual enrollment time frames. Some ways you may qualify include:
- Retire and lose employer coverage
- Move out of the plan's service area
- Receive assistance from the state
- Diagnosed with certain qualifying disabilities or chronic health conditions
- Qualify for Extra Help
